Jan/Feb 2022 Winner:
Denny Liles, Technical Support Engineer, BGF Industries Inc., Danville, Virginia
How long have you been in the aerospace business?
Since 1987.
I grew up in North Carolina, so learned about the Wright Brothers, and enjoyed everything about aircraft and space travel.
What is your favorite aircraft and why? The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird because of how it was developed, the way they had to make it, and the propulsion technology. It’s a fabulous plane.
Runners-up:
Stephen Marinshaw, Vice President Engineering, Hubbard Aviation Technologies, San Diego, California
Eric Eisert, Assistant QEMS Manager, Remet Corp., Utica, New York
