How long have you been in the aerospace business? I entered the aerospace business in 1973 at Northrop Aircraft in Hawthorne, California, as a machinist right out of high school.

How did you become interested in aircraft? My father flew B-24 bombers in Europe during WWII, and he worked at Northrop after the war for more than 40 years. I grew up at the beach under the flight path of airplanes leaving LAX.

What is your favorite aircraft and why? Anything Northrop designed and built. Northrop has been at the forefront of aviation design, aerodynamics, and materials since before WWII.
