
The Nova Scotia government is offering financial help to a company looking to expand its workforce in pursuit of more business in the aerospace sector.
Bradean's Tool and Die of Amherst, N.S., will create up to 35 new jobs with the help of a five-year payroll rebate, from Nova Scotia Business Inc., worth up to $251,600.
Bradean's serves local and international clients, including IMP Group, Boeing, Bombardier and Cessna.
The government says the assistance will also help Bradean's maintain its existing workforce of 13.
The company makes a range of aircraft parts, components and tooling, for such things as fuel tanks, wings and cargo doors.
The company recently obtained certification in the standardized quality management system for the international aerospace industry.
