Positioning equipment

Linear UniSlide, BiSlide, and XSlide assemblies and rotary tables can be used as workholding devices, often in combination with a clamp, chuck, or collet, and can be moved through manual manipulation or programming motors. Assemblies can move indicators for vision equipment or as part of test and inspection equipment. The products can precisely orient a probe, sensor, antenna, transducer, or component.

Chip-removing conveyor

The EcoFilter solves chip migration issues with a two-stage metal chip removal and coolant filtration design. Primary large chip removal is done with a hinged steel belt conveyor. In a secondary process, fines are separated from the coolant via flow through a wedgewire filter cell. Self-cleaning brushes wipe fines from the surface of the wedgewire and flow to the bottom of the conveyor. The conveyor belt’s cleats then discharge the fines.

Solid carbide end mills

End mills for universal milling and high hardness machining applications incorporate new end mill technology, geometry, and coatings to outperform conventional offerings. The tool line includes:

Top-Cut VAR: A variable-helix, solid-carbide inch end-mill program featuring geometry and advanced ALCR PVD coating for universal milling applications in most materials

Top-Cut: Metric end mills for universal milling applications with variable helix flutes and TiALN PVD coating, for roughing and finishing operations

Multi-Cut: Carbide roughing end mills with a serrated cutting-edge chip-breaker technology for optimum chip evacuation and metal removal rates 5X to10X conventional end mills

TiNOX-Cut: Coolant-fed roughing end mill for exotic materials, variable flute spacing and a serrated chip-breaker profile for aggressive material removal and a heat-resistant multi-layer TiN/TiALN coating

Hard-Cut: For machining materials up to 66HRC.
