Offset angle heads
Offset angle heads offer high-pressure coolant through the main spindle, up to 100bar, and increased rotation speeds and high-speed options. The heads also offer the possibility of dry machining. All angle-head spindles are manufactured from a solid piece of hardened steel that increases resistance to bending stress by 25%. Tools can reach higher rotation speeds without vibration, and the angular contact bearings offer concentricity and stability.

Double-sided 90° milling cutter
The DFC double-sided 90° milling cutter features a special-shaped six-edge insert, offering long-term, stable cutting and high- efficiency machining with high feed rates. Recommended insert grades for steel include ACP200 and ACP300. For stainless steel applications, ACM200 insert grades are recommended. ACK200 and ACK300 insert grades are recommended for cast-iron applications. The DFC is available in 1" to 8" in standard, fine pitch, and extra-fine pitch styles for a variety of applications. Maximum depth of cut is 6mm.

Compact tool magazine
The ToolTech compact tool magazine stores big, heavy, large-diameter tools within a small amount of floor space. Tool carts and docking stations eliminate the need for operators to manually lift tools in and out of the system. The magazine system organizes tools according to their lengths and diameters and stores them in racks, accommodating up to 206 tools in the same amount of space required for a 120-tool chain-type magazine system.

Helix carbide roughing end mill
The Power Mill F1304NN series end mill combines variable flute geometry with a roughing cord profile design, offering stable milling in machines with limited horsepower. Designed for stainless steels and general steels, it reduces vibration, increases metal removal rates, and improves tool life. The roughing cord configuration acts as a chip-breaker, and Safe-Lock grooves on the tool shank support Safe-Lock holder technology to reduce tool pullout and micro-creeping. Mills are available in inch and metric sizes.

Drill/tap, drill/mill centers
The DT-1-Drill/Tap Center and DM-1 Drill/Mill Center offer high acceleration rates, fast axis speeds, and short tool-change times with an additional 8" (203mm) of X-axis travel and table length. The DT-2 is a BT30 taper machine with a 15,000rpm inline direct drive spindle and a high-speed 20+1 side-mount tool changer, and is available with a 20,000rpm spindle. The DM-2 is a 40-taper machine with a 15,000rpm inline direct-drive spindle and a high-speed 18+1 side-mount tool changer. The DT and DM allow high-speed, rigid tapping up to 5,000rpm, with up to 4x retract speed to shorten tapping cycles.

Diamond burnishing tools
Diamond burnishing tools offer a mirror-like surface finish on linear surfaces in a single pass. They improve surface irregularities and tool marks, and offer surface finishes of 4Ra to 8Ra. The tools can eliminate grinding, honing, and polishing by automating those processes in the primary CNC machine. Diamond burnishing can be used for a wide variety of parts and ductile metals less than HRC40, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron. The tools are available in inch and metric slimline; and square, offset, on-center, stick, and boring-bar styles.

Taper-face toolholders
Taper-face toolholders provide two surfaces of contact for increased rigidity and consistency when machining complex parts at high cutting parameters. Designed for use with dual-contact spindle systems, the toolholders use plastic deformation of the machine to offer simultaneous fit of the taper and flange face from the holder, creating a rigid connection that prevents the toolholder from being pulled into the machining spindle. The toolholders can be used in situations involving long tool overhangs, deep-hole boring, and exotic workpiece materials that magnify cutting forces.

Saw blades
SiClone and BlockBuster bi-metal saw blades offer up to 20% increased cutting rates in production metal-sawing applications. They are available from 2" to 3-1/8" width. SiClone blades are designed for tough alloys such as Inconel. BlockBuster blades are for high-volume production sawing.

Motor brakes
MagnaShear hazardous duty brakes have spring set torque ratings from 3 lb-ft to 900 lb-ft available, and can be sized to the correct torque independent of the motor frame size or horsepower. They offer mounting to drive motors in NEMA frame sizes 56 to 405, and are enclosed for protection from outside contaminants. The modular design offers easy maintenance, and oil shear technology transmits torque between lubricated surfaces, improving wear on friction surfaces and offering longer life with no adjustment. A fluid recirculation system dissipates heat, while oil shear offers a smooth stop, reducing shock to the drive system.

Hybrid trunnions
The Stallion Hybrid trunnions allow faceplates and chucks to be installed without removing the trunnion table. The workholding devices accommodate a variety of vises, fixtures, 3- and 4-jaw chucks, and collet chucks for flexible workholding. Standard baseplates allow the trunnion assembly to be offset to one side of the machine to maximize machine travel. A pneumatic brake provides up to 600 lb of clamping force.
