Stamped and formed Trident T2P contacts have been enhanced to provide high level alignment for secure mating, smooth and easy assembly and disassembly, and improved reliability, making them ideal for use in harsh environments.
The design of the T2P contacts incorporates improved features while maintaining full contact intermateability and interchangeability to all connectors compatible with the T2P contact.
The stamped and formed T2P contacts virtually eliminate the need to replace damaged contacts due to misalignment issues.
In sealed situations where a contact requires replacement, this new design prevents damage to the grommet on removal or insertion.
Trident T2P contacts are ideal for a wide range of industrial and transportation applications including robotic systems, camera equipment, automotive dashboards, cabin applications, junction boxes, power train (engine/transmission), and air conditioning and cooling systems.
The contacts are also suitable for a variety of military applications. Trident T2P contacts are available in standard brass or high-conductivity copper alloy body styles. Both versions offer tin, gold or gold flash plating options, have a current rating of up to 16A, can accommodate wire sizes of 14AWG to 26 AWG, and boast a lifespan of up to 200 mating cycles.
