SP6H/SP6N series of S-Max high-feed facemills offer a unique combination of robust edge strength and high-feed capability provides a hybrid approach to your metal cutting applications. The high-feed capability is made possible by an aggressive 80° lead angle for extreme (5x) chip thinning factor. Two insert choices provide a multi-purpose geometry and a high-shear geometry for titanium/hi-temp alloys. S-Max High-Feed features ramping capability and a DOC of up to 0.072". The strong four-edged insert offers an economical advantage over its two-edged competition. Medium and high density cutters are available. Diameters range from 2" thru 8". Coolant/air through the tool is featured on certain styles.
Also on display will be Evo-Tec, the next generation in their MAXline family. The multi-purpose insert geometry works well in virtually all types of material and features a primary land dramatically improving cutting edge strength. Four-edged Evo-Tec inserts offer an economical advantage over its twoedged competition and a DOC capability of up to 0.420".
