About the presentation
While shops and factories understand the importance of machine tool maintenance and many have a routine schedule, there are overlooked areas and components that should be checked regularly to avoid a failure. Making chips means making money, and there’s a reluctance to halt machines for long to do a deeper examination. However, inspecting certain areas on a regular basis can help extend machine life for years. Plus, it’ll save money by preventing unplanned downtime and investing in new equipment prematurely. This presentation will delve into key areas that should be added to the maintenance checklist and dive deeper into those already on the list.

About the company
Prior to 1982, Mitsui Seiki machine tools were sold in North America by a machine tool importer. In 1982, our parent company, Mitsui Seiki Kogyo Co., Ltd. believed it could better serve the needs here by establishing a wholly owned subsidiary, Mitsui Seiki (U.S.A.) Inc. The headquarter office was founded in Franklin Lake, New Jersey. Regional offices were also established to better support Midwestern, Western, and Canadian customers. We combine engineering, sales support, service, and spare parts responsibilities with a strong distributor network covering the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide the best possible communication and industry networking.
