How long have you been in the aerospace business?

I have been an aero enthusiast my entire adult life. I own two single-engine aircraft.

How did you become interested in aircraft?

As a teenager. My next-door neighbor was an airline pilot who restored vintage aircraft in his garage. I helped him restore a Boeing 100, an aircraft similar to the one in the contest.

What is your favorite aircraft?

I have so many favorites it’s hard to name only one: Piper J-3 Cub, Waco Model SRE, Grumman F8F Bearcat, Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
