Flexible shafts transmit rotary motion like a solid shaft but can be routed over, under, and around obstacles where a solid shaft cannot. Flexible shafts are used in thrust reverser actuation systems (TRAS), flap and slat systems, variable bleed valves, jet afterburner nozzle control systems, and cargo door actuation systems.
A key flexible shaft application is when valves require manual activation if the automatic system fails. Any number of valves may be manually actuated using a flexible shaft assembly, such as air turbine starter (ATS) and anti-ice valves, and

Ethernet connector series
As an Ethernet solution packed into a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III derived shell, the TVµCom-10Gb+ connector series meets the requirements of miniaturization, high speed, and robustness in harsh environments.
The TVµCom-10Gb+ combines the 10Gb/s Ethernet speed of the classic µCom-10Gb+ with the 38999 series III shell.
TVµCom-10Gb+ exceeds 10Gb/s according to the IEEE 802.3an-2006, 10GBase-T standard, and the 38999 series III size 11 shell provides environmental resistance.
A reduced flange version is also available for Jam Nut receptacles to minimize the panel footprint.
This Ethernet Cat.6A connector is suitable for high definition, high-speed video; uncompressed real-time video (over IP); 10Gb/s Ethernet switches; and high-speed mobile terminals for satellite

Single-output power supplies
QS series single-output power supplies, rated at 600W to 1,200W, have low acoustic noise and PMBus communication with a high current standby voltage.
The standby/signal option can be configured with output inhibit or enable remote on/off, a PMBus interface, and a 5V 0.25A and/or a 5V 2A standby voltage.
Power supplies have 4,000VAC input to output, 1,500VAc input to ground, and 1,500VAC output to ground isolation.
QS5 and QS5H are available with an IEC 320 input connector, replacing the screw terminal block. Operating temperatures are -20°C to 70°C, with output power and output current linearly derating above 50°C to 50% at 70°C.
