Requiring less than 24.8ft2 (2.3m2) of floor space, the Helitronic G 200 can grind and re-sharpen rotationally symmetrical cutting tools from 1mm to 125mm diameters with a grinding wheel up to 150mm. The G 200 can accommodate a maximum tool length of 235mm (9.25") and tools weighing up to 12kg (26.45 lb).

A low-vibration solid mineral cast bed and C-frame construction offer high damping and thermal stability. The rotating A- and C-axis are equipped with torque motors. Helitronic Tool Studio grinding software provides ease of programming with flexibility.

An available top loader using Walter-standard robot pallets and automated electrical teaching is directly integrated into the machine’s work envelope, requiring no additional floor space. Suitable for tools from 3mm to 16mm diameter, the loading system has a 500-tool maximum capacity.

The 2022 Artec Leo from Artec 3D offers more power, improved vibrant color capture, and multi-language interface. The NVIDIA Jetson TX2 processor has more than 2x the power of its predecessor, while consuming less than 7.5W.

To verify accuracy, each scanner is calibrated with precise reference objects using different parts of the scanner’s sensor at different distances. A calibration kit lets users independently check scanner accuracy. Auto Temperature Control keeps components at optimum operating temperature for accurate data capture.

Algorithms automatically adjust the brightness level when scanning for evenly lit color 3D models without manual correction. Texture optimization speeds data processing for creating 3D color models.

Three additions to the line of solid carbide drills and milling cutters with indexable inserts extend the portfolio for machining titanium.

Mega-Speed-Drill-Titan: Four guiding chamfers for optimum roundness, convex cutting edges, and an efficient coating increase tool life up to 30%. Coolant flow to the cutter is guided along the outside surface to the rear, cooling the guiding chamfers. The drill can achieve a cutting speed up to 40m/min.

OptiMill-Titan-HPC: For roughing operations, this milling cutter can also finish cut. Special cutting edge preparation produces clean surfaces, allowing finishing up to 2xD. Cutting edge spacing and spiral pitch are uneven for smooth running. Silicon coating and polished heat-resistant chip flutes counteract adhesion for optimum chip evacuation. Standard diameters range from 4mm to 25mm.

NeoMill-Titan: Indexable insert shell-end face milling cutters in slip-on and shank versions and shoulder milling cutters optimize chip formation and evacuation while minimizing wear and titanium sticking. One grade is for universal applications; a second, temperature-resistant grade enables higher cutting speeds and machining annealed titanium. Cutting speeds up to 70m/min can be achieved. Coolant flow rate can be regulated for each cutting edge.

Shoulder milling cutters are stocked in 40mm to 125mm diameters. Shell end face milling cutters are stocked in 32mm to 80mm diameters.
