Designed for job shop flexibility, the Mycenter-4XV is equipped with a 19.7" x 44.1" table with 40.2" x 20.1" x 20.1" X, Y, Z travels, making it suited for large single workpieces, multi-fixtured components, or implementing additional axes. A 40-piece automatic tool changer (ATC) assures smooth and effortless tool changes and offers greater flexibility for a wider variety of jobs. A high-speed, dual-contact, 15,000rpm, 41hp spindle system offers rigidity and stiffness for demanding cutting conditions and handles hard-to-machine materials.
Heavy-duty cross linear guides, fine pitch ballscrews, high-grade servo motors, feedback encoder, and high-precision assembly technology allow for high accuracy and smooth motion on the X, Y, and Z axes. High-grade Meehanite cast construction provides optimum damping capacity and vibration absorption. The exclusive intelligent advanced control system (IAC) consists of a series of strategically located sensors and machine efficiency monitors working together to control the effects of heat displacement to ensure continuous accuracy and ±1μm repeatability.
A large ergonomic work envelope with wide door openings enables easy part load/unload while rapid feed rates of 2,047ipm (X, Y) and 1,890ipm (Z) boost throughput. Standard base wash system, internal chip augers, covered X & Y axes, and a scraper-type chip conveyor keep the workspace free of chips and contaminants. The flexible conveyor configuration allows for placement on the left or right side of the machine.
Equipped with Kitamura Arumatik-Mi Pro control, the Mycenter-4XV comes with a 15" touchscreen color LCD, 2MB of memory, high-speed, high-accuracy control with 8,190 block look-ahead and 4,500 block per second processing speeds, and Super Smooth Surface (SSS) control.
