The MV12BxII double-column machining center with high-speed rapid traverse (X-axis: 48m/min, and Y- & Z-axis: 32m/min) reduces non-cutting time, while its spindle’s maximum speed has been improved to 7,000rpm and motor output increased to 26kW.
Grease lubricates all spindle and feed axes, helping the machine use less air and lubricant to reduce running cost and operator workload.
An eco-friendly electric power unit operates its pump only when necessary, while meeting a range of production requirements from high-precision surface quality to general parts machining, including light cutting to heavy cutting.
Options include an automatic operator door, coolant shower, and selectable chip conveyor.
POW-R-FEED end mills
M936 POW-R-FEED end mills are designed for faster part cycles and speeds for machining steels, stainless steels, and titanium on 3-axis to 5-axis CNC machining centers.
Unique flute and core geometries achieve extremely aggressive cutting parameters. The proprietary end face allows aggressive ramping and helical entry parameters. A tough carbide core and AlTiSN coating prevent chip buildup and allow higher feeds and metal removal rates.
The variable index reduces chatter and provides stability for easier, better finishes in slots and confined areas, helping extend tool life, while the specially designed wiper flat-end leaves smooth floor finishes.

The hybrid COMOT-AZ quick change collet chuck features standard diameters of 42mm, 65mm, and 100mm. For bar and tubular stock machining requiring multiple changeovers, COMOT-AZ can be used for O.D. machining using standard collets. The optional COMOT-AZ/PA lets users change from a standard collet to a high precision collet for holding workpieces from 3mm to 100mm with accuracy and repeatability. Or transform COMOT-AZ quickly using the EMX series extension mandrel for I.D. clamping.
Effectively used for hard turning, gear grinding, drilling, milling, and more, COMOT-AZ provides low deformation clamping of thin-walled workpieces and offers a large selection of standard collets in round, square, hexagonal, and special configurations for many spindle sizes.
For automated loading, COMOT-AZ provides air sensing to ensure the part is seated properly before machining starts. Radial fine adjustment and a case-hardened body and internal parts offer high wear resistance and longer life.
