The NCT200 CNC rotary table offers high clamping torque in a compact footprint while offering high indexing accuracy, repeatability, and braking force due to its 663ft-lb (900N•m) clamping system. This clamping, combined with improved indexing, enhances machining productivity.

Design of the NCT200 rotary table’s drive system increases rigidity by 25% compared to previous models, ensuring long-term accuracy, precision machining, and a reduction in overall maintenance costs. Unique to Nikken rotary tables is the carbide worm system consisting of a carbide worm screw, ion nitrided worm wheel (HV930), and hardened steel bearing surface (HRC58-60). The V-grade solid carbide worm screw ensures high rigidity and minimizes wear, which is reduced up to 8x while overall accuracy is increased. Additionally, the worm wheel’s specially hardened, ion-nitrided treated teeth eliminate sliding friction.

Milling tool expansion

The HELI-ALU milling tools family has been expanded with imperial and metric size tools with the addition of 90° endmill heads with Multi-Master and Flexfit threaded adaptations that mount HM90 AXCR/APCR 15 and 16 insert sizes.

The heads feature high pressure coolant (HPC) options which provide longer tool life, higher metal removal rates (MRR), larger radial engagement (ae), and improved chip control and chip evacuation.

In addition, the screw-in design configuration of the heads considerably expands the ability to customize HELI-ALU tools by use of Multi-Master and Flexfit shanks, adaptors, extensions, and reducers.

The expansion includes a metric size tool range with Flexfit configuration of 25mm, 32mm, and 40mm for both families of size 15 and 16 inserts. The imperial size tool range includes Multi-Master configuration of 1.00",1.25", and 1.50" for both families of size 15 and 16 inserts.

HELI-ALU milling tools feature high pressure coolant (HPC) option, pinpointed coolant flow directed to each cutting edge, true 90° shoulder milling, ramp down capabilities, and protective coating on the tool’s surface.

Designed for machining aluminum alloys such as aluminum-lithium for the aerospace industry, capabilities include ramping by use of helical interpolation, along with rough and semi-finish milling of deep shoulders and slots.
