Cirrus Aircraft unveils Generation 2 Vision Jet

Cirrus Aircraft has launched the next generation of its Vision Jet – G2 – offering enhanced performance, comfort, and safety for the single-engine jet. Increases in cruise altitude, speed, and range join the newly-upgraded Perspective Touch+ by Garmin flight deck.

Technologies unique to G2 include Autothrottle and Flight Stream wireless connectivity. New executive seats, noise reduction, and a passenger productivity console highlight numerous G2 cabin upgrades.

An expanded flight envelope to 31,000ft and range to more than 1,200nm allow an additional 150 lb to be carried on an 800nm mission and pushes top cruise speed further above 300kts.

Upgraded Intelligent Batteries from True Blue Power deliver improved cold start capabilities.

Passengers have access to USB and 110V power outlets, as well as a large video monitor that extends from a flush mount overhead. Family seating offers room for 5 adults and 2 children, but the modular cabin seats can be repositioned or removed, offering more than 25 possible seating configurations.

The Vision Jet received FAA certification in 2016, and in 2018, the Vision Jet was awarded the prestigious Robert J. Collier Trophy aeronautics award.
