Cimcorp, Murata Machinery USA reorganize

Murata Machinery Ltd. subsidiaries Cimcorp North America and Murata Machinery USA Inc. (Muratec) are integrating their technical operations and resources across Charlotte, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; and Grimsby, Canada.

Muratec has built a global presence manufacturing high-performance logistics, material handling automation systems, and custom machinery solutions. Cimcorp Group, a pioneer in providing automation and robotics solutions for intralogistics and material handling applications, operates in seven locations worldwide, with its headquarters in Finland.

“This integration will harness the collective strengths of Cimcorp and Murata Machinery, empowering us to unlock new opportunities and propel our growth in the North American market,” says Tero Peltomäki, Cimcorp Group CEO.

From their Charlotte headquarters, L&A General Manager Masatoshi Wakabayashi will direct day-to-day North American operations, backed by a network of localized services and support.

Operational integration is targeted for completion in Q4 2023.
