Waveguide detectors
These zero-biased waveguide detectors exhibit optimum performance in Ka, Q, U, V, E, and W frequency bands. No external DC bias or mechanical tuning is required. The package designs use rugged steel construction and are thermally stable. Integrated waveguide connectors make the outline compact.
Pasternack’s release of waveguide detectors consists of six models covering a frequency range of 26.5GHz to 110GHz. The input ports use popular waveguide sizes ranging from WR-28 to WR-10, while the video output ports use SMA female connectors. The detector circuits use high performance GaAs Schottky Barrier Beam lead diodes with extremely low junction capacitance. These designs perform with minimal sensitivity variation resulting in a flat frequency response across the entire waveguide band.
Features
- Performance is guaranteed from 0°C to 50°C
- Negative output voltage polarity
- -600mV/mW to 3,000mV/mW voltage sensitivity levels

Intelligent thermal management system
The custom, self-contained intelligent thermal management systems (iTMS) cools sensitive electronic hardware.
The iTMS extends the capabilities of Thermacore’s ruggedized liquid cooling system (rLCS) technology, which is a closed loop liquid cooling system that includes a liquid-to-air heat exchanger, cold plate, pump, coolant, fluid reservoir, fans, and hydraulic interconnects.
The rLCS pumps coolant through the cold plate(s) to which the heat-generating components are mounted. Heat is efficiently transferred into the fluid before flowing through the heat exchanger, where the thermal load is rejected.
By controlling electronics temperature at optimum levels, the Thermacore iTMS can extend the life and improve the reliability of electronic hardware. The device’s energy consumption is reduced, because the iTMS only adjusts pump speed, fan speed, and other operating components when signaled by integrated programmable logic control (PLC) technology. Live switching between redundant pumps provides rapid, automatic recovery if a single pump malfunctions, further increasing reliability.
Integration within complex electronics platforms is made easier because the iTMS integrated control system allows for reducing or eliminating electronics in the next level of assembly, and because vital system information can be communicated using readily available, industry-standard interfaces. Key applications for the iTMS will include thermal solutions including radar and unmanned vehicles, oil and gas processing, medical diagnostic equipment, scientific testing, and academic research.

Miniature accelerometer
The model 352A57 miniature accelerometer is suitable for satellite component ground vibration testing for sine, random, and shaker shock applications. Hermetically sealed for low outgassing thermal vacuum chamber environments., the sensor weighs only 1.3g and offers a 2.5mV/g output with low noise.
Model 352A57 incorporates a shear mode ceramic element and an ICP internal electronic design for a low noise, low impedance output while minimizing base strain and transverse sensitivity. The accelerometer has a side-mounted 5-44 electrical coaxial connector and adhesive mounting.
The IEEE P1451.4 standard in the TEDS feature self-identifies the accelerometer and describes its characteristics and operation, making it easier for the user to track.

Inductors
Six ultra-low profile SMT shielded inductors, with mounted height profiles of 1.0mm to 3.2mm, are for compact point-of-load and mobile devices.
These inductors have core geometries and construction that enable high currents with no radiated magnetic fields to interfere with associated components. The ultra-low-profile design has a metalized core termination that provides shock resistance characteristics without impacting the height of the part.
The family consists of six series of parts, the PA4330, PA4331, PA4332, PA4333, PA4334, and PA4335, which vary by footprint, current rating, and inductance range. They are available in EIA standardized tape-and-reel packaging.
