How long have you been in the industry?
I started with GM 39 years ago, until I retired and came
to Delta Gear almost 3 years ago.

How did you become interested in aircraft?
As a child growing up at the dawn of the space age, it was easy to become interested in aircraft and spacecraft. The objects that were the pinnacle of technology and pushed the frontiers of what was known were constantly in the limelight.

What is your favorite aircraft?
Probably the North American X-15. Still the fastest aircraft 46 years after achieving Mach 6.72.

*Contestants may not win the first place prize more than once throughout the duration of the contest, and may only win consolation prizes once per calendar year, and winners must be print or digital subscribers of AMD. Due to the unpredictable nature of postal delivery, prizes will be determined by random drawing from all correct answers received, after a six-week waiting period from the issue’s mailing date. The first drawing will name the 1st place winner, followed by four consecutive drawings for consolation prizes.  Please send comments or feedback regarding the contest to Danny English,
denglish@gie.net.
