Machining Coolants
The WS 7450 is a heavy-duty, chlorinated semi-synthetic coolant that forms a transparent micro-emulsion when mixed with water. WS 7450HP has a similar formulation but also offers foam control for CNC and grinding operations. Both coolants can be used on a range of metals including stainless steel alloys, cast aluminum, ferrous metals, and cast iron. They offer good rust and corrosion protection for the inner workings of the machine tool and pressure lubrication, which can increase the life of the tool while also providing surface finish.

Keep Cool System
The Cool Flash System enagles coolant to wrap itself around the tool like a jacket and protects it against such disturbances. With the Cool Flash-System, the bores are in the clamping chuck. A disc is positioned at the face side of the Cool Flash chuck, which releases a narrow circumferential gap in the direction of the tool. The coolant accumulates at this point on the Cool Flash, builds up high pressure in this chamber, and is distributed over the entire scope of the tool shaft. At the end of the shaft area, the coolant is pressed into the flutes, flushes them out, and then reaches the cutting edges of the tool directly without atomizing, where its cooling effect may develop.

Cast Iron Turning Grades
Black-Rush CVD-coated grades TT7005 and TT7015 feature a stable substrate, strengthened coating layer and a post-coat treatment, resulting in exceptional chipping resistance due to the strong bond between the substrate and the coating layer. This coating technology contains an Al2O3 outer layer that maximizes hardness while providing thermal stability. Following the coating process, a surface treatment applied greatly reduces friction, cutting force and build-up on the insert cutting edge. TT7005 provides good wear resistance, making it a good choice for both gray and ductile cast iron in high-speed applications. Together, these grades provide mechanical shock and heat/wear resistance in high-speed machining of gray cast iron or ductile cast iron.
