Linear Rail Product Line
The BGS06, part of the Ball Guide Screw (BGS) linear rail line, is a versatile system utilizing the size 17 single-stack or double-stack stepper motor linear actuator. Product design engineers can choose between three BGS frame sizes: BGS04, BGS06, and BGS08. All BGS frames are designed to position heavy loads while maintaining repeatability, accuracy, and withstanding cantilevered loading.

Programmable Focusing Optics
For use in scanner welding, cutting, and drilling, the

Programmable Focusing Optics (PFO) 3D features a larger work area, higher maximum laser power, and enhanced electronics for increased accuracy.

The new generation PFO 3D increases the maximum work area of the laser to 20.8" x 30.7" in elliptical form with a Z stroke of up to ±18.7", and an increase in the maximum laser power of up to 8kW.

Advancements to the PFO 3D electronics ensure increased accuracy at the workpiece while the Mirror Stabilization Program (MSP) corrects mirror positions measured in offset and gain, independent of temperature and humidity.

Capacitor Series Addition
An expanded range of surface mount switch mode power supply (SMPS) capacitors now includes the switch mode max capacitance (SMM) series stacked MLC capacitors, which incorporate the High K Super X7R dielectric. Featuring high dielectric constant (K), the SMM series capacitors provide an extended range of capacitance values in a small case size, freeing up valuable board space. Ideal applications for the new series range from high-power DC/DC converters to general power supplies, making them ideal solutions for a broad range of applications.

The Super X7R SMM stacked MLC capacitors feature a voltage range of 50V to 500V, a capacitance range of 0.56µF to 120µF, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.

Digital Options for Finish Boring
The Series 112 for small diameter finish boring, along with recent additions to the digital boring line, means available options cover the full spectrum of finish boring sizes and series.

The design of the digital heads is geometrically similar to their analog predecessors – same range, roundness, shape, and height – so users can swap an analog for a digital model without any reprogramming. Existing Kaiser accessories, such as shanks, extensions, reductions, slides, boring bars, and insert holders, are compatible with the new digital tools.

Additional features shared across the entire digital lineup include an IP 69K seal rating and a coated body to assure complete resistance to contamination and corrosion.

9-Axis Twin Spindle Multi-Tasking Center
The Quicktech TTS-42 and the Quicktech TTS-60 9-axis twin spindle multitasking turning centers are high-precision, high-production, CNC bar processing centers for complete part machining, including milling of complex features.

Available in both 42mm and 60mm (1.65" and 2.36") bar capacities, the TTS-42 and TTS-60, respectively, feature 9-axes, two turning spindles, two milling spindles, and a capacity of 31 tools. A 3-axis (X, Y, and Z) gang-type vertical tool post serves each spindle, with the main tool post featuring a full B axis for the live tools. Maximum turning length for the main spindle is 226mm (9.05"), and maximum turning diameter for the subspindle is 98.5mm (3.94").

The main spindle has a 15hp high-torque spindle motor, and the sub-spindle is equipped with a 5hp high-torque spindle motor for backworking.

Waterjet CNC for Shape Cutting
A new version of the ESAB Low-Rail Hydrocut machine line, the Hydrocut LX Waterjet Shape Cutting Machine, includes all of the recent advancements in gantry design and modular assembly utilized on ESAB’s Avenger X series gantry.

The Hydrocut LX is a large gantry with a high-stiffness beam design featuring dual precision linear rails and precision rack and pinion drives. The size and strength of the gantry makes it ideal for accurate waterjet cutting across large working areas with multiple process tools. The Hydrocut LX gantry can be equipped with up to four waterjet stations, carrying up to two high-definition plasma stations featuring ESAB’s m3 Precision Plasmarc system.

The sturdy gantry features all-steel construction with machined mating surfaces and rides on a floor-mounted heavy-duty 85 lb crane rail system. Both the X- and Y-axis are protected with bellow covers to keep abrasive materials and moisture away from the rails. The machine achieves accurate speed control down to 0.1ipm (2.5mm/minute) and up to 1,400ipm (35,560mm/minute), and is available in cutting widths from 8ft to 18ft (2.4m to 5.4m) and working lengths up to 56ft (17m).

High Pressure Spiral Flex Hydraulic Hose
Engineered for rugged, high-pressure, hydraulic applications up to 6,235psi, is the Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hydraulic hose. Designed for applications with minimal space, the hose provides bend capacity of 8.25" to 9.5", depending on the diameter selected.

Reinforced internally with four spiral layers of high tensile steel wire braid, the Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hose has a durable oil, ozone, and abrasion-resistant synthetic outer cover – 10 times the abrasion-resistance compared to standard hose cover. Impulse tested for up to 1 million cycles, the hose withstands temperatures from -40°F up to 250°F and meets flame-resistant MSHA designation, and meets or exceeds requirements of SAE DIN 20023. The hose is available in diameters of 0.750", 1.000", and 1.250" ID.
