How long have you been in your current industry?
I have been in the aerospace industry for more than 30 years. I started at Ford Aerospace working on FLIR targeting pods for the F-18 aircraft. I am now employed at Northrop Grumman working on satellite sensors.

How did you become interested in aircraft?
My father was in the Marine Corp and flew A-4 Skyhawks in the 1960s. I was exposed to military aircraft at a young age, and I have remained interested ever since.

What is your favorite aircraft?
I have always liked the Vought F4U Corsair. I believe it was one of the first models that I built when I was younger. I have always been especially interested in WW2 aircraft.

*Contestants may not win the first place prize more than once throughout the duration of the contest, and may only win consolation prizes once per calendar year. Due to the unpredictable nature of postal delivery, prizes will be determined by random drawing from all correct answers received, after a three week waiting period from the issue’s mailing date. The first drawing will name the 1st place winner, followed by four consecutive drawings for consolation prizes. Please send comments or feedback regarding the contest to Danny English,
denglish@gie.net.
