Sandvik Coromant Appoints Executives
Effective March 1, 2012, John Israelsson assumed the role of president of the new business area, Market Area Americas, while Jamie Price succeeded Israelsson as president of Sandvik Coromant USA.
Israelsson’s new role supports the company’s strategic business direction, becoming a more global organization. As president of Market Area Americas, Israelsson will be tasked with leveraging performance, growing sales, and increasing the gap between competition; as well as increasing synergies between the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Latin America.
Price will join the Market Area Americas management team, reporting to Israelsson. In his role as President of Sandvik Coromant USA, Price will continue to develop the company as the market leader in the United States, assuming responsibility for the company’s operations, sales and marketing, strategic planning, development, expansion, and profitability. sandvik.coromant.com/us
Bison Chairman Joins National Workforce Solutions Advisory Board
Ron Bullock, chairman of Bison Gear and Engineering, joined the National Workforce Solutions Advisory Board as a founding member. Attending the board's innaugural meeting, January 23, 2012, Bullock and others met in Washington to discuss solutions for economic growth and competitiveness. Second Annual Hardinge Machine Technology Show
The second annual Hardinge Machine Technology Show will take place June 6 - 7, 2012 at the Hardinge corporate headquarters and technology center in Elmira, NY. Machines and other products will be on display with technicians ready to answer questions. Technology seminars will take place throughout each day focusing on a wide variety of metalcutting topics. In addition, Hardinge technology partners and suppliers will feature displays of their latest products and be available to answer questions.
