T-Slot cutters with a spline connection
The SD-SP15 is a new family of narrow slotting and groove milling cutters, featuring 1.25" diameter milling heads with eight teeth in a width range of 0.125" - 0.250" for maximum depth of cut up to 0.315".
The new cutters consist of interchangeable solid carbide T-slot milling heads and cylindrical steel shanks assembled by means of a unique spline connection. Also available is an adapter with the SP spline connection on one side and T12 MULTI-MASTER threaded connection on the other side, which enables using all T12 standard MULTI-MASTER shanks.
The spline connection is used to transmit the torque in the best way. It ensures very durable assembly to withstand considerable cutting forces during slot milling and bending forces caused by long reach overhang. The spline connection designation is SP15, where 15 indicates the connection size.
The general-duty cutting geometry of the heads is suited for efficient slot milling on a wide spectrum of workpiece materials. The cutter heads feature an SP15 internal spline mounted on a matching external spline on the shank secured by a central screw.
The new heads are made from the versatile IC908 grade and they are based on the successful cutting geometry of the MM-TS MULTI-MASTER heads.

Micro-miniature resistance welding
The UB29 linear DC micro welder offers precision control for micro-miniature resistance welding. Featuring single-phase input, a compact size, and dual-pulse schedules, the UB29 offers a precisely controlled, repeatable waveform.
The UB29’s 5-500 amp output makes it suitable for smaller applications where closed-loop feedback control, fast response times, and a controlled precise energy waveform are required. Safety critical applications will benefit from the UB29’s four control modes, ultra-low current, stable output down to 5A, and ultra-fast rise times of less than 200 micro seconds.

Budget CMM with touch screen software
The new Benchmark CMM offers a high-performance budget CMM with the added benefit of a small footprint. The unique half-gantry advanced alloy design has its X- and Y-axis at the same level, providing increased rigidity and offering a metrology platform for high-accuracy small- and medium-part CMM inspection.
The open structure of the CMM provides exceptional ergonomics and is suitable for the inspection of high volume production parts or single part inspection in smaller manufacturing operations. Its compact size is applicable to production CMM or quality room applications and fits through a standard door width.
The full air-bearing CMM, with accuracy of 2.5µ and a measuring volume of 500mm x 400mm x 440mm, comes standard with a Renishaw touch-probe.
It is available in manual or CNC configurations. Manual units can be upgraded to full CNC in the field at a later date, offering a two-phase investment in CMM technology. The CMM and can also be used as a programmable production gage. In addition, optional wireless thermal compensation allows the CMM to measure accurately in shop conditions.
This CMM is equipped with TouchDMIS software for CMM usability, offering all touch CMM software with full CAD capability. The software requires just a few hours of training and a short learning curve.
The software’s Measurement Wizard and Construction Professor minimize user input to the software. Access to the DMIS programming language is not required for measurements, programming, or editing. Time saving features include built-in intellect that provides the user with screen dynamics minimizing selection choices and eliminating traditional function searches. Rich screen graphics display every action before execution, guiding the measuring process and eliminating potential user errors. Measured data can be presented as a unique Blueprint Report whereby a fully dimensioned drawing of the measured part is created for fast and easy interpretation of measured results.
