How long have you been in the current industry?

Seven years

How did you become interested in aircraft?
As a kid in the early '80s, I went to an air show at Beale AFB in Northern California with my family. One of the features of the show was a flyby of a U-2. Right on cue, the U-2 seemed to appear out of nowhere, coming down from high in the sky silently and quickly. It swooped down over the crowd, and with a tremendous roar, it climbed back high in the sky and out of sight; I was hooked!

What is your favorite aircraft?
The SR-71 Blackbird, for its history and unique capabilities, and it is inspiring to view.

Contestants may not win the first place prize more than once throughout the duration of the contest, and may only win consolation prizes once per calendar year. Due to the unpredictable nature of postal delivery, prizes will be determined by random drawing from all correct answers received, after a three week waiting period from the issue's mailing date. The first drawing will name the 1st place winner, followed by four consecutive drawings for consolation prizes. Please send comments or feedback regarding the contest to Matt Grasson, mgrasson@gie.net
