Single-Axis Actuator
The BG single-axis actuator with U-shaped integrated slide guide and ballscrew may be one-end supported. The four ball circuits contained in its slide block deliver high load capacity, accuracy, and rigidity. A 34-page brochure supplies all dimensions, drawings, and ratings necessary for specific applications. For motion control applications with fast acceleration and deceleration, the NV Studroller with Anti-Creep cage technology guarantees zero slippage. The Studrollers‘s raceway depressions track the unit’s nodules preventing slippage. In addition, load capacities are increased 1.4 to 2.3 times over standard SV type. They are available in lengths from 30mm to 600mm with 2mm to 12mm rollers and can endure 150 million cycles.

Oil Mist Separators
The Green Line oil mist separators use different rotor and disc sizes depending on the airflow needed. Used for all of the separators is a single rotor and disc size, it works with emulsions or straight oils. It separates 100% of the fluid particulate down to µm, 91% at 0.µm and 82% at 0.7µm. With a HEPA filter added for the final stage cleaning, the Green Line series ultimately delivers 99.997% clean air. Designed to work on small machine tools with cabins up to 106CFT.

Enclosed Cable Carrier
RX Energy Tube is an enclosed cable carrier with a smooth contour that ensures all debris falls off the carrier. The pin-bore connections and stop dogs are covered, indicating an absence of gaps through which debris can fall, minimizing any debris from accessing conduits. A series of comprehensive tests, including underwater experiments and tests measuring chip-mass penetration, have been carried out to confirm the Energy Tube is nearly 100% airtight. Despite its design, RX Tube can be opened using a screwdriver to unscrew bolts integrated into the outer radius of each link. It is available in four sizes and is suited for short, self-supporting lengths inside tooling machines.

Milling Head Service available

Fischer Precise USA has partnered with milling head builder, Tramec, to service the full range of 2-axis Tramec heads in North America. Fischer spindles are used with Tramec milling heads in large gantry-style machines in aerospace, mold and die, and other applications. Basic series of milling heads are gear-driven, while the Evolution series are driven by torque motors. Both feature a single-piece, cast iron design, resulting in controlled positional accuracies, good rigidity and damping characteristics, and compact size.

High-Pressu
re Analog Sensor
This high-pressure inductive analog sensor is rated up to 500 bar. It is suitable for valve control and hydraulic cylinder cushioning applications as well as position monitoring in mobile hydraulic systems, parked positions of cranes, final position of installation supports. Corrosion-resistant housing materials, ceramic sensing faces, and special sealing techniques allow dependable service up to 500 bar or pressure.

The sensor features: two output models with the same design; switching for final position detection; analog for control of valves or immediate stop; oil pressure up to 500 bar; IP68 in a M12 stainless steel housing; and 0.5mm to 2mm sensing range.

Fire Detection and Suppression Systems
Design of these automatic fire detection and suppression systems are to extinguish machine fires sparked by oil-based metalworking fluids, coolants, and lubricants. They are compatible with most extinguishing agents, including those that are non-toxic, non-conductive, and non-corrosive. The clean agents leave no residue on machines or workpieces and will not contaminate lubricating oils or fluids. These systems are self-contained and do not require any electrical power to operate. The heart of the system is a proprietary detection tubing (a linear pneumatic heat sensor) that reacts to a fire or fast-rising heat event by bursting at the point nearest the greatest heat, triggering a discharge of the fire extinguishing agent.

Metrology-Grade Casting Formula
Reprorubber metrology-grade casting formula is a n accurate method for the non-destructive inspection of complex and hard to measure parts. Reprorubber is produced in three grades, offering a range of viscosities, durometers, and applications. The Thin Pour (green) version provides good flow and internal feature detail. Medium Body Orange and Quick Setting Putty (blue) can be used externally and internally, depending on the application. All three versions are provided in easy-to-use kits and set up in approximately eight to 10 minutes with virtually zero shrinkage. No release agent is required to separate the casting from the original part. In addition to the original manual mix kits, the Repro-Mix II Quick Dispense Cartridge System Kits allow users to dispense, easily, both Thin Pour and Medium Body Orange formulas using a handle held gun with prefilled cartridges.

Centrifugal Mist Collectors
The Darwin line of centrifugal mist collectors is available with throughputs from 353cfm to 1,767cfm, making it a suitable mist collection system for all kinds of machine tools, from small lathes and grinding machines to the largest machining centers. The Darwin line’s operating principle involves the use of centrifugal force to push oil mists through an annular filter medium. Collected oil is sent back to the machine tool through a drainage pipe. Darwin units support more than 150 different configurations with pre- and post-filter stages that can adapt these filters to a variety of mists and particulate types.
